About Me

I have been quilting for just about three years. I was a hand sewer and dabbled in cross stitch and did some hand sewing but always had a desire to quilt. I had a yard sale and with the proceeds bought a Singer Prelude from Target. The quilting odyssey had begun! I went into my local quilt shop http://www.emmasquiltcupboard.com/ and bought a pattern for a table runner. I also inquired about classes. On Wednesdays there was a class from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fit with my schedule and I signed up. My fantastic teacher Cathy Bodio helped me with the table runner and I was hooked! I've been quilting ever since. This experience has been more than I ever dreamed. I have met such wonderful people. I am grateful for Facebook and the quilters I have met there and all their inspiration. Last fall I joined my local guild, Yankee Quilters and it has opened another world to me. If possible I have met even more quilters and had the most amazing experiences.
